- On the A2000, you are limited to 10 Megs of Auto Config RAM. That would be
- a maximum of 2 Megs Chip RAM and a maximum of 8 Megs 16-bit Fast RAM.
-
- With your Video card, this would change to a Maximum of 6 Megs 16-bit Fast RAM
- since the Video card is using 2 Megs of the Auto Config space for the card.
-
- All 32-bit Fast RAM will be available as extended memory. It will not be
- recognized upon start-up. You will usually get a program with your
- accelerator or RAM card that tells the Amiga where this extended memory is
- located. You will typically want to add this program into your startup-
- sequence so that it is made available each time. This does not change how
- much Auto Config space is available, but you do get to access the RAM.
-
- I do hope this helps.
